Ornate Side Table
I loved designing these tables with my client. She came to me with two drawer pulls and asked “Can you build a pair of tables around these?”. Idea after idea, sketch after sketch resulted in gracefully curved front and back edges of the top, a single inlaid drawer, and curved front stretcher to mimic the drawer.
The burled Cherry top mirrors the grain of the stone in the drawer pulls and an inlay of tiger Maple and Walnut, accentuates the cross bars and all of it perched upon slender legs that taper gently to what I can only describe as a doe’s foot on tip-toe. Beautiful and elegant and a reflection of my clients wonderfully eclectic design style. She loves them.
